Pre-Marriage Preparation Program

Today, couples face more demands and have fewer supports than ever before. The typical current day marriage where both partners manage careers while rearing children requires that couples have very strong, well-established abilities to communicate, resolve issues, maintain mutuality and set goals. Without this foundation, it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Problems can intrude much more easily than most couples realise. So, it's important to strengthen your relationship and prepare for future challenges and conflicts that everyone inevitably faces at some point in their marriage.

The Pre-Marriage Preparation Program is an approach that helps engaged couples and newlyweds develop the skills, habits, attitudes, and enrichment techniques that research shows lead to happy, enduring marriages. It is education, not therapy based and addresses the normal issues and challenges that all couples face in the course of their marriage. The optimum time frame to benefit from such a program is generally during the year before the wedding and six months or so after. Later, under stress, negative habits and relationship patterns may become established and be much harder to resolve.

The Pre-Marriage Preparation Program is not a group workshop and so individual attention to your particular needs is ensured. For further information, please contact me.
